The significance of having a good nighttime routine

I often express that mornings are exceptionally special. Absolutely! In truth, they are even more invigorating and productive when you get a decent “good night” sleep. Yes, the things you do right before bed can determine how your morning goes, and the amount of sleep you have also makes a difference. Receiving 7-8 hours of sleep is ideal for a sound mind.

It’s absolutely essential to acknowledge that bedtime reflections have an immense influence on our morning rituals.

Tap on your subconscious as you drift off at night. Before you slumber, this is the ideal opportunity to access your incredible inner strength via your subconscious. Have a chat with yourself and see the possibilities!

Have you ever observed that when you watch a scary movie at night, you tend to have strange dreams? On the other side, when you watch something humorous, lively, and joyful, you awaken in the morning feeling great. You may not be aware of it but without realizing it, your brain is picking up all these positive signals.

Have you ever experienced when you face a really bad argument with someone, particularly during the night? Even if it ends verbally, you still find yourself stuck in a headspace of replaying all the nasty words used against you. You reach in a state of mind where you start blaming, criticising, and comparing. And then when you wake up in the morning, you wake up feeling drained, worse, and tangled. Isn’t that the truth?

You might have noticed this too that when you arrive home after a wedding or any joyous gathering at night, didn’t you feel as though you were living in magical moments with your loved ones? When you go to sleep that night, all those wonderful memories racing in through your mind. The next morning, it’s no doubt you wake up feeling energised and ready to take on the day!

Have you observed that the activities you partake in before bed can have a major effect on your morning routine?

Once you grasp this concept, you probably agree that no one enjoys feeling sick, sluggish or gloomy in the morning.

We all would like to experience positive and meaningful mornings, days and lives. Realizing how essential having a proper nighttime routine is, we can put in some effort to make our nighttime preparations more effective. We should plan our evening activities responsibly. Let’s figure out what that could entail.

  1. Instead of sitting idle, why don’t we challenge ourselves and set a goal for tomorrow? Anything that we would like to achieve – whether it be going for a run for 30 minutes, turning the page in a book, taking a break and going for a ride, aiming for a job, or spending time with the family – it’s all possible if we have our sights set on it! Having a clear, achievable goal that aligns with your feelings and mindset helps guarantee success!
  2. when it comes to making small decisions in life or even the big ones, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. So take some time to tap into yourself and trust your intuition. Explore the depths of your inner-self and let the power of your subconscious guide you to the right answer. Take a scenario for example, you have applied to two great job opportunities and now you have the chance to choose one! The positions they are offering you sound fantastic, along with the attractive incentives. It can be hard to determine which one you should choose and it can be difficult to make such an important decision, so why not ask your inner self for some advice – close your eyes and go to bed, imagining what you want out of your career and the impact you will make. Talk to your subconscious mind, “I’m set to opt for the business that positively impacts me in the long run. I’m confident I can experience bountiful growth and fulfill my calling inside that company. When I awaken in the morning, I’ll have a firm understanding of which company is the best for me.” Your subconscious works for you all night long. Think of it like you’re the boss, and your subconscious is like a guard on duty. The guard speaks to you and says, “Boss, I’ve done all the work for you and this company is the best choice for you – trust that thought, whatever you want to call it, that’s the power of the subconscious. Listen to it carefully.
Don’t get bogged down in too many questions like what to do or where to go – use your thoughts wisely and constructively.
  3. Practice gratitude before you go to bed. Gratitude can be given at anytime to anyone. Having said that, giving gratitude at night has a huge impact on the nourishment of a healthy subconscious mind. When thankfulness becomes a bedtime habit, we allow our subconscious to expand with gratification and happiness. The more we feel thankful for someone in our mind, the more calm, composed and collected we feel within, and as a result, we gradually harness the power of subconscious mind. We bring its power under our control.
We don’t need something big to be grateful for. One can be grateful to people, things, achievements and GOD on a daily basis. Reflect the day at night. Seek the gratification in something. For example, a stranger might have passed a pleasant  smile at you or you started doing something new that you have been waiting for a long or someone appreciated you for your kind behaviour or simply you feel blessed to have a wonderful family, kids, health, and you are thankful to GOD for that.
Gratitude can be in any form. Either you pass it to the the person by calling them  or texting them  or you say a thankful note in your mind about that person or you write it down in your journal. If it’s for a person, it’s highly recommended that you pass your gratification to them with love. You express it to them with genuine feelings and emotions. Be expressive when giving gratification. Give as much as you can and as often as possible.
We could do plenty thoughtful stuff before going to bed such as forgiveness. Forgive to yourself and to everyone. Just let it go. Be light, feel light. Relax!
  4. It has been proven through scientific evidence that when our conscious mind shuts down for the night, our subconscious never really sleeps; instead, it remains up and running all the time, 24/7. It has also been demonstrated that the more we think positive thoughts and send them to our subconscious with strong emotions, love and feelings, the more likely these ideas are to become reality. A simple example of this is when you tell your brain, “I want to wake up at five in the morning, please GOD wake me up”. The GOD here is your subconscious. Your eyes naturally open up at five o’clock in the morning without needing an alarm.
By repeating positive affirmations to your subconscious mind, you can surmount anything you desire in life. Not only can you become richer, but you are also able to dissolve hardships in both your personal and professional life. Whatever fear or obstacle stands in your way, you can exceed it through the power of subconscious.
If you want to gain the highest benefit from your subconscious, then be smart with it before you drift off to sleep. At nighttime, your conscious mind is inactive so it won’t be getting in the way of good thoughts entering your subconscious. What you think about right before you go to bed will be what you experience when you wake up.

If you want to conquer your life, conquer your subconscious mind! What you sow in your thought at night, you reap in the morning!
