Where am I from? Don’t discard humanity based on false beliefs

As we take our first breaths in this world, we are given a remarkable gift- a “Human Avatar”. This remarkable gift allows us to experience the world and connect with others in ways that are undeniably special.

Picture, for a moment, an alternate reality where you might have come into existence as an ant, a caterpillar, a lion, an elephant, or even a majestic bird. In the grand tapestry of life, every living being has its place, its purpose, and its challenges. Unlike humans, who often grapple with complex emotions like jealousy, comparisons, and ego, these beings live a life of purity – untarnished by such struggles.

As humans, we are bestowed with the remarkable gift of life, the ability to walk our own path, and the power to steer our destinies. Each day presents us with bountiful opportunities, experiences, and choices that can truly elevate our lives. Yet, it’s quite astonishing that we often find ourselves confined within the boundaries of our self-imposed limits, beliefs, and fears, thereby depriving ourselves of living a meaningful life with humanity.

In a world that’s constantly evolving, embracing the latest technological advancements and innovations has become the norm. With each passing generation, we eagerly adopt new gadgets and adapt to modern ways of living. Yet, in our quest for progress, it seems we have inadvertently nudged humanity to the sidelines.

Where we see the entire world as one, thanks to flooded migration, we yet struggle to mix up with people from different nationalities or cultures. Before we meet someone, we judge people’s identify based on their dressing sense or looks. That judgemental thought goes that fast that we forget to evaluate in our own  head how should we meet someone with blank head so we can grasp the person’s true identity based on facts, not based on our own mental blocks.

There is a huge difference between how we talk to someone with fresh mind and how we talk to someone with already made-up perception.  When we consider someone meeting fresh, it’s more likely that we are at ease with the person irrespective of any past bad memories we have with the person. As it’s being said by Dale Carnegie “Every day is a new day to a wise man”. So can’t we consider each person new? We can! Right? It’s just the matter of perspective!

We humans, if put all our ego, jealously behind, we are more likely to cherish humanity!

Humanity has nothing to do with particular colour, age, group, country, or religion. Humanity all means humanity, equality, love and care for others as we do to ourselves, to our family, to our people. The entire world is our people. There is no definition for high status or low status. There is no definition for black or fair. There is no definition for divisions such as Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or Sikh!

Have you ever thought how our so called old beliefs are nurtured. Because that’s what we have been taught throughout since our birth. We have been told “we are this, we born here, we wear this, we talk this, we pray this, we live like this, we eat this, and who knows what else we have been taught what we do”.  No one has taught us though, we are not just that, we are more than that, we are free to adopt any good thing we perceive, irrespective of any person or culture we grasp it from. As long as that quality is helping us become a good person, why would we seek an authentic stamp to dissolve ourselves in that learning.

A simple example: If a girl is brought up in India and wearing Saree is what falls under her cultural attire, and that’s what she adopts in a foreign land too. Now if people’s belief about her is that she is very outdated, then that’s their perspective. On the other hand, if a girl criticises any western outfit considering it too short, that’s her perspective. We don’t value humanity when we criticise others and put our perception first. We value humanity when we cherish openness and adopt things as they are. We appreciate what we have, and we appreciate what others have.

We don’t need much today, all we need is a humanity touch in every sphere of our life! We need to dissolve our souls in humanity with love, empathy and care only to become and behave more like humans!
